Until Apple announces its next AirPods release — maybe this month, maybe not until next year — we’ll have to make do with their current and best model, the AirPods Pro.
Thankfully, those are now at their lowest price ever on Amazon.
Why the Pro over the other cheaper and well-regarded earbuds? Primarily, it’s for the Active Noise Cancellation and its Transparency Mode counterpart (essentially, press down to let in outside noise). It also has 4.5 hours of listening per charge and 24 hours of power with the wireless charging case, a customizable in-ear fit (new for the AirPods), improved water/sweat resistance, and controls that have moved to the stem instead of the earbud itself.
As you can see, the charging power isn’t necessarily comparable to other ANC headphones, but the overall product gets high marks … and at a few cents under $230, the best price we’ve seen yet. And it’s totally worth it.
