Questival is the brainchild of Cotopaxi, a newbie in the outdoor gear field that makes some really handsome, durable (as in lifetime guarantee) daypacks, waxed canvas jackets and stretch fleeces.
All with a nice philanthropic bent.
Cotopaxi now also has Questival, their “Amazing Race meets Tough Mudder” challenge, hitting 30 cities this year (six currently open for registration).

The challenges — all 200 of ‘em — are incredibly varied. You could go Big Wheeling downtown, you could end up competing in Go Ruck-style exercises on more rugged ground.
Or maybe get a tattoo.
To start: register with a team in a city near you, pick a 4-, 8- or 24-hour challenge window, and wait for your day and list of challenges.
You document your progress via an app, earn points based on “ruggedness,” and — no matter what — finish up at a party with bands, food trucks and drinks.
You can even win trips or gear.
