Say hello to the Evo WA. And now have a look at its favorite trick.
Courtesy of Italy’s Evo Yachts, known for mastering more than meets the eye, the Evo WA is a shape-shifter. The designer’s second act — following the innovative Evo 43 with an expanding sun deck — doesn’t disappoint.
“WA,” meaning “Walk Around,” accounts for this boat’s extendable deck with an open layout suited for milling about. With just a push of a touchscreen button on the XTension system, the WA unfolds 269 sq. ft. of extra deck space in just 30 seconds. That’s loads of room to stretch the ol’ sea legs outs.
Released ahead of its official launch at Cannes in September, optional bells and whistles include a retractable table, chaise lounges with cushions that double as floating pads, a hidden kitchen area with induction stove, teppanyaki griddle or BBQ grill. Running with 435 horsepower via Volvo Penta engines, the WA holds up to 12 lucky guests with two cabins and one loo.
With more boat for your buck, the Evo WA just took the summer BBQ to a whole new level … quite literally.
