If you’re feeling a little guilty from the shopping escapades of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but you can’t resist the many sales that are still ongoing, ease your conscious by shopping in support of Giving Tuesday, a movement that seeks to encourage and promote generosity among people, communities and brands.
Honoring the movement, many retailers have created even more incentive to shop, whether it’s donating proceeds to the ACLU or providing clean water to those in need. Below are 16 brands participating in Giving Tuesday, with some even offering special discounts just for today.
Huckberry
Huckberry’s Cyber Monday sale has been extended, so if you missed out the first time around, make sure you snag a couple pieces today. In honor of Giving Tuesday, for every purchase made a tree will be planted, so you can basically consider yourself an arborist.
Everlane
Shopping Everlane’s 100% Human collection already does some good — for each product sold, the brand donate’s 10% of the sale for the ACLU. But for Giving Tuesday, Everlane has decided to double the donation and give 20% to the ACLU. Now you can sport the line’s range of sweatshirts, tees, face masks and even bandanas — and be reminded of the good you did.
Richer Poorer
For those still scrambling to find gifts, whether it be for the men or women in your life, look no further than Richer Poorer’s Gift Packs. Choose from the Lounge Pack, Boxer Pack or this one featuring the brand’s insanely comfortable recycled fleece sweats and hoodie, and not only will you save money, but for every pack purchased Richard Poorer will donate one.
Outerknown
Currently Outerknown’s best-selling styles are 30% off (including the ever-popular Blanket Shirt) while 100% of proceeds (nearly $50k) from these select styles will be donated to the LA Students Most in Need Fund (through the California Community Foundation) which aims to help students who are unable to benefit from in-person schooling.
The Verticale
Pick up a new pair of handsome leather boots or grooming goods at The Verticale, a multi-retailer carrying carefully curated brands, and for every purchase made $10 will be donated to Feeding America, now through tomorrow.
Rowing Blazers
Continuously inspired by the legacy and style of Princess Diana, Rowing Blazers created the red balloon capsule collection after coming across a photo of the Princess wearing a British Lung Foundation sweatshirt (of which she was the patron). Now 100% of net proceeds from the collection will be donated to the British Lung Foundation, so you can carry on both the Princess of Wales’ legacy and style.
Our Place
If you have yet to get your hands on one of the cult-favorite Always Pan from Our Place, go ahead and make the investment now and 10 meals will be donated to those in need in partnership with Feeding America, all as a result of your purchase.
Made In
You (yes, you) could attend a virtual cooking class with the Tom Colicchio for the mere price of $30. The famed chef has partnered with Made In to raise funds for the Independent Restaurant Coalition, featuring the brand’s Carbon Steel Roasting Pan. All you have to do is purchase a ticket (100% of the proceeds will go to the IRC) and soon you’ll be learning how to cook a roast pork chop with Tom himself.
W&P
Stock up on W&P’s minimalistic cook and glassware (or their handy Cocktail Kits) and 25% of your purchase will be donated to the Edible Schoolyard NYC. Plus, you’ll get free personalization!
Food52
If you still find yourself in search of the perfect gift for the gourmand in your life, allow Food52’s more than comprehensive gift guide to point you in the right direction, all while 5% of the site’s sales are donated to No Kid Hungry.
Freshly
You know you’ve always wanted to try a meal delivery service, so why not start with Freshly, where every first order made now through December 25 will result in a donation being made to the World Central Kitchen and their food relief efforts.
Outdoor Voices
While you’re stocking up on some new athleisure, be sure to take the (very short) time to make a $10 donation in support of Delivering Goods, a nonprofit organization that provides products donations to those impacted by poverty and disaster. For every $10 donated, $100 worth of goods will be distributed to those in need.
Sakara Life
Holistic wellness brand Sakara is donating $5 for every order purchased, whether that be their meal programs or individual products from their Clean Boutique.
Away
Save $175 when you purchase Away’s The Weekend Set (a bundle consisting of The Backpack and The Weekender, together totaling nearly $500) and not only will you be showing your support of Away (and sporting some seriously sleek luggage) but Global Glimpse, a nonprofit organization that provides travel and leadership virtual programs to high schools across the country.
Anthropologie
It can never hurt to have a few gift cards on deck in the event you need a last-minute gift, and now Anthropologie is offering even more incentive to pick a couple up by donating $10 from every card purchased to the International Child Art Foundation. You’ll even get something in return — a $10 credit in your inbox. It’s a win for everyone.
Bathing Culture
Shower more consciously with Bathing Culture’s line of washes and bathing products and the brand will donate 100% of proceeds to The Navajo Water Project, who provide clean, hot and cold running water to families across New Mexico, Utah and Arizona.
