Koio has surprised us in many ways over the years, from its start in 2014 as a fledgling Italian-made brand, to its ascension as one of our favorite unsung sneaker companies, to its left-field releases like a winter-ready Chelsea boot. One of the things it’s never surprised us with is a real-deal, shelf-clearing sale — until now.
Ostensibly until they run out of shoes, Koio is throwing a summer sample sale where its higher-end men’s sneakers are up to 60 percent off. (They’ve got women’s sneakers, too.) Their reason for the blowout is to make room for a “new sustainability vision and the product that comes with it,” so we’ll be keeping an eye on that. But until then, which sneakers should you get?
The best course of action is to go to the left-hand sidebar and pick your size, then shop from there since styles are going fast and new shoes are being added randomly. But if you want our opinion, the classically styled Capri in Italian calf suede is the perfect entry point into the brand (and over $70 off), but the chunkier Avalanche ($173 off) and the retro Tempo ($148 off) are great for people who are tired of the same boring designs from Big Sneaker.
We've put in the work researching, reviewing and rounding up all the shirts, jackets, shoes and accessories you'll need this season, whether it's for yourself or for gifting purposes. Sign up here for weekly style inspo direct to your inbox.
