Day One of Lamborghini’s driver training program goes something like this:

Helicopter transfer to Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Racing gear (suit, gloves, shoes) fitting followed by on-track laps in a Huracán
Cocktails
Helicopter transfer to the Strip

And, again, that’s just Day One.

The Pilota Lamborghini program will give eight participants the opportunity to train as professional racers behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo before taking part in a 30-lap race complete with a qualifying stage, pit stops, driver changes and a podium ceremony with champagne.

Training includes drilling on extreme recovery techniques and overtaking exercises, as well as a chance to test-drive a Huracán LP620 Super Trofeo, which Lambo calls the world’s “fastest one-make GT racecar.”

The program runs from April 7-9, and participants who complete it will have a chance to qualify for an International Motor Sports Association-Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile racing license. Kind of a big deal.

Registration information for the all-inclusive $19,995 program is available here.

Speed is of the essence.
