A man goes to the garage to fix things.
Often, these are things he broke himself.
So with that in mind, we’d like to direct your attention to a line of sturdy (but natty) workwear that’s built to ensure you don’t break anything else. Namely, yourself.
Give a hearty how ya doin’ to Bridge & Burn/Official Manufacturing Company workwear, available now.
A collab between two Portland-based concerns — a utilitarian clothier (B&B) and a far-reaching design agency (OMFGCO’s actual, ominous motto: “We solve problems”) — the workwear line is the best of all worlds: sturdy and functional, yet stylish and marked with noticeable detail.
Originally conceived as custom-designed workwear for tall, lanky men, the four pieces here run a little longer in the sleeves and inseams.
The initial run includes four pieces:
- A durable, two-tone cotton twill work jacket with red lining
- A striped linen, button-up work shirt
- Cotton twill work pants
- A sturdy, striped linen shop apron with multiple pockets
The wares are currently available online, in very limited supplies, at Bridge & Burn, OFMGCO and Need Supply.
“We’re talking about doing a second edition, but we’re not sure when it would drop,” says our guy at B&B.
Sounds like it’s time to get back to work.
