Is collecting an investment goldmine? Back in the ’80s and ’90s, experts thought so about baseball cards. Now, the folks at GoCompare.com are saying investors could get the most bang for their buck with comic books. The U.K.–based company has put together a comprehensive list of those books that have accrued the most value in comparison to their original cover price. Below, we’ve listed the top five titles, based on percentage price gain, along with their cover price at the time of publication; current value; and reason why the comic has become so valuable.
