The Porsche Museum is commemorating its 70-year anniversary with a special exhibition at its home in Stuttgart, Germany. It was today in 1948 that the Porsche 356 “No. 1” Roadster was granted its general operating permit, according to a press release, and since then the company has become synonymous with an entire way of automotive life.
“With this exhibition celebrating the anniversary of our brand, we are breaking completely new ground,” Achim Stejskal, Director of the Porsche Museum, said in the release. “For the first time, we have completely re-designed our entire exhibition area, which covers more than 5,600 square metres”.
