Universal Pictures has won the rights for international distribution as well as home entertainment for the 25th installment of the James Bond movie franchise. Rights to handle the series were the most hotly contested in recent memory. MGM and Annapurna will handled distribution of the movie in the U.S. through the joint venture they signed last year, reports Deadline. The 25th installment of James Bond will premiere on October 25, 2019 in the U.K. and will then see a U.S. release two weeks later on Nov. 8.
Production for the latest Bond film begins this winter on December 3. Daniel Craig returns as 007 for the fifth time and Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle will helm the film.
