Inside England’s ‘Poison Garden,’ Where Every Plant Can Kill You

There’s a beautiful garden in the North of England where tourists from around the world flock to — and every single plant inside can kill them. Cultivated in 1995 by Jane Percy, the Duchess of Northumberland, the garden has 100 varieties of plants that range from the exotic Brugmansia, which can kill those who ingest it with high levels of scopolamine and atrophine, to the laurel hedge, a common plant that emits toxic fumes.
